At 7.45am, you enter the building in ‘s-Heerenberg. A new, busy day awaits you. You’re up for it, because you feel your colleagues’ energy. Together, you are going to make it yet another great day. Over the summer months and towards the end of the year, it gets very busy in dispatch, but you don’t mind that. You like the variety. You get to work right away. Your team leader has your tasks all lined up for you. Brimming with enthusiasm, you get stuck in. You skilfully package items, mark the price and label them, and subsequently sort and stock them. And what are those items? It’s a highly diverse range of items. One minute you’re handling clothes, the next it’s all kinds of Christmas decorations. You just love the variety. No wonder, therefore, that the morning flies by. Time for a break!

Time to take clothing items out of the bulk pack, mark the price and put the items on hangers. By now, you know exactly how to do this as efficiently as possible. It’s a piece of cake for you, as is compacting and bundling items together, which is on your task list for later. Soon after that, you build and fill displays for a high-profile customer in the personal care industry. And after you have also managed to assemble parts from various packs into half-finished or end products, your work day is done. That was quick! There will be new orders waiting for you tomorrow, but now it’s time to go home to recharge your battery for a new day.
