As a reach truck/combitruck operator, you work either from 6am to 3pm or from 3pm to 9pm. And those alternating working hours are simply ideal to you. Whichever shift you work, you will never be bored. You are an important link in the dispatch chain, because you help ensure that the logistics process runs smoothly. You do that by storing and retrieving pallets from the racks. Given that you use an EPT or reach truck for that, it’s a piece of cake for you. Your experience operating a scanner and a computer comes in very handy. You make sure the right pallets are ready in time or stored in the right rack in the warehouse.

For the best part of the day, you are moving around the warehouse on your EPT or reach truck to get pallets to where they need to be. This is how you make sure the production process never grinds to a halt. You retrieve pallets so that they can be prepared for shipping and ensure a perfect flow in the dispatch process. When the logistics process runs like clockwork and you had a hand in that, you feel completely in your element.
